Uniform release ‘Shame’

‘Shame’ is an impressive album, it shows the Uniform at their strongest. Their blend of noiserock and industrial metal is refined and shifts between an epic feeling and dirty industrial filled with bleak heaviness. The tracks are strong and perfectly transfer the feeling of dread that is so strong in their music. A truly amazing album that has catchy tracks as well as destructive punk and choas.  Tune in to hear ‘Shame’ the new album by Uniform that is out now.

Uniform to release ‘Shame’ listen to three tracks

Uniform returns with a new album called ‘Shame’ that will be released September 11. The band released their previous album ‘The Long Walk’ in 2018 but gave me so much pleasure with their bleak destructive collab albums with The Body. Both the albums ‘Mental Wounds Not Healing’ and ‘Everything That Dies Someday Comes Back’ where such incredibly amazing and dark albums.

Now this is a reminder that you should check them out and tthe new third track ‘Shame’. This is Uniform at its best and this sounds really promising. Check them out and pre-order now.

Uniform upgrades their sound on two new songs from upcoming ‘Shame’

Again great news now from the underworld. Now we heave two new tracks from ‘Shame’ that are up for a listen called ‘Delco’ and ‘Dispatches from the Gutter’ and for me it seems the New York trio has been born anew. Their sound on these tracks is wy better, it sounds if the producing is better and cleaner but they still keep their industrial heaviness. The atmospheric riff on ‘Delco’ blends so perfect with the industrial darkness. This sounds like a new Uniform and it sounds absolutely awesome. I need this.

A compilation of Black Sabbath covers recorded by artists from across the Sacred Bones roster

Sacred Bones has always been an special label, the name brings up somthing magical in me, their bands are so wide on the musical spectrum, between experimental an dreamy, it is just amazing to look in to everything and discover all this gems. Now they released a various artists compilation to To celebrate the 50th anniversary of both the self-titled Black Sabbath album and ‘Paranoid called  ‘What Is This That Stands Before Me?’. The thing that is immediatly clear and shows why the bands on the label and ofcourse the label itself are so special is because these covers are so unique, each artist truly made a song in their own style, not like many covers just mimic the track but they truly blended and molded the songs in their own way. Just listen to the first song by The Soft Moon, it is an industrial version of the track ‘Black Sabbath’ and then you know you are in for a ride. An 80 techno russian like version? A sludgemetal one or a dark pop version. Some close to recognizing the original some far away. How Hillary Woods molds N.I.B. into her own version is almost sacred. Zola Jesus doing changes gives me the chills and Moon Duo, wich is one of my favourite bands takes care of one of my favourite tracks. And ending with a brutal industrial take from Uniform. This is a label and bands that are extremely professional and good at what they do.

Uniform and The Body share second track from ‘Everything That Dies Someday Comes Back’

This is going to be the second collaboration between The Body and Uniform. Their previous album in June 2018 was called ‘Mental Wounds not Healing’. This album was absolutely great because of its darkness, the album spewed hell right in your face.

They already released the first track ‘Penance’ and now we get a second track called ‘Not Good Enough’. ‘Everything That Dies Someday Comes Back’ will be out August 16 on Sacred Bones.

On this second collaboration it seems the band will go even further with their experiments, going even deeper into the sonic abyss.

Now they are back with a first track called ‘Penance’ from their upcoming ‘Everything That Dies Someday Comes Back’ wich will be out August 16 on Sacred Bones. The new track sounds a bit more industrial and accesible than their previous album. very curious to hear more.
