30 000 Monkies share ‘He-Man’ from upcoming album

You can be sure of two things when there is new music by the Belgian band 30 000 Monkies, It is going to be heavy and it is going to be weird. But more importantly, the new track is called ‘He-Man’ and it is one hell of a sludge/noise track. On this first single of the upcoming album ‘Are Forever’ the band is going full force so this is sounding very promising for the album. This music needs visuals and that is something is 30 000 Monkies is good at, so check out the tunes and the video and let your brain melt.

‘Are Forever’ will be released September 27 on Consouling Sounds.

Allöchtöön released their self titled debut

Now and then I need heavy riffs, noiserock, fast and agressive music to keep me awake. I don’t know about you but when I’m in the car at night I just need some Slayer or Daughters or even Dying Fetus to keep me from dying of boredom. Or in the middle of the day at the most inconvenient moment I blast Girl Band mostly for myself but also to annoy others with their terrible music taste. It is sonic terror like these bands that keeps my blood flowing (and tire the people around me).

A band like Allöchtöön does that for me, it hightens my senses, making me like some kind of sonic animal chasing my tail like an idiot. So I am very happy to introduce to you the new EP by Belgian brutes Allöchtöön.  It sounds a bit like Entombed fucked Raging Speedhorn in the bum. Its fun. It is also out on cassette through Nosebleed Records

I asked my girlfriend (who hates noiserock and psych) to review this band, this is what she says: ‘This is just stupid, all this noise induces a migraine. Who the fuck listens to this, turn it off and leave me alone’.

There are about 5 good tracks on this EP so you should stop reading this nonsense and start listening to this very good debut.

now.

You need to listen to Rainbow Grave

There are loads of reasons that Rainbow Grave released one of the top albums of this year. The band features Nicholas Bullen (founder member of Napalm Death and Scorn) and John Pickering (founder member of Doom and Sore Throat) and makes just about the most dirtiest music I have heard in a long time. Tormented vocals, greasy riffs and guitar noise make this band absolutely worth every second of your time.

Their music has a very sludgy andangry punk vibe, so much heavy music has been made but this feels very original. Bits of noise rock, sludge, punk and psych all blended into one record that is called ‘No You’. I made spaghetti while i listened to this album end it ended looking like beef stew for dogs, this music is so angry it ruined my food.

The album is released through God Unknown Record and will look gorgeous in your collection.  Out July 19!

Pure heaviness on the debut by Ungraven

Like a sledgehammer to the face the debut by Ungraven arrives. Ungraven is mix of noisemetal, industrial and sludge by Jon Davis (Conan).

The debut is called ‘Language of Longing’ and is incredibly heavy and a feast for the fan of the extreme. As a bonus we get the artwork by Alan O’Neill.

Favorite track: Onward She Rides To A Certain Death

Only enjoyable on max volume!

USA/MEXICO release Matamoros on Riot Season Records

Going for the heaviest record of the year is the trio USA/MEXICO. The band is made of  guitarist Craig Clouse (Shit & Shine) drummer King Coffey (Butthole Surfers) and Nate Cross (Marriage, When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth).

The sound that USA/Mexico produces is so dense, so heavy, so full of distortion that after one listen you need to check if you are still yourself, if you have not been blown to bits.

USA/MEXICO crosses a sonic line, not only crossing it, they kick it and spit on it. ‘Matamoros’ has to be one of my most listened tracks yet, especially on headphones.

Tune in for destruction and order you copy through 12XU and Riot Season record label.

Second track by psych/doom band Henge on God Unknown Records

The UK band is set to release their new album “Nothing Head” March 1 on the amazing God Unknown Records.

The first released treack ‘Teddy Bear’  is a psychedelic trip to the cosmos, guitar solos, riffs and faraway vocals created an epic atmopshere.

On the new track ‘Beginners’ the band show their dirty side, a slow and sludgy track  with haunted vocals thats more leaning to doom then psych.

I am very much looking forward the “Nothing Head” and i am pretty sure this will be one of the best albums of 2019.

Check out the two released tracks and find them on Fuzzy Sun’s Heavy and Psych list.
