Them Teeth makes big matcho sludge riffs and in your face noiserock. And they do it really good on their new record ‘Tired.’ wich is out on Triple Eye Records. These three dudes just throw heavy riffs in your face for ten tracks and it is awesome. Tune in now.
Shit is getting confusing, there well come a time when I will try to make a post about Shit and Shine where I will try to order their records a bit from weird techno to strange electronics to brutal sludgenoise. Lately Craig Clouse (wich is, I think, the mastermember) has been releasing al his older albums on bandcamp and it brought me a lot of joy. So while I have been checking out all these releases Craig has been releasing new music as well.
‘Goat Yelling Like A Man’ is the album that is released on Riot Season Records and wich is mental sludgenoise. And right about the same time we have got the new album ‘Malibu Liquor Store’ wich is out on Rocket Recordings. Trippy and fat beats for moving your body. I tried moving my body on these beats and I must say it was pretty fun.
This is some really nice shit, Somnus Throne gives instant joy with their very heavy riffs and you get that Sleep vibe yet Somnus Throne is faster. The tracks are about ten minutes each and do not get boring at all, vocals are excellent and give it a psychedelic feeling. The sound of the album is magnificent, everything fits perfectly.
It has been a while since I enjoyed new stonerdoom as much as this. The trio from all over America released this new self titled album on Burning World Records on September 24 and is a must have for every fan of stoner, doom, sludge and heavy psych. A real banger.
You can listen to three new tracks from the Kansas City hardcore/sludge/noiserock band Canyons. Their new album ‘Stay Buried’ is out on August 7. These three short tracks are extremely brutal in your face heaviness. I think it is very necessary you listen to them very concentrated.
Dear people of Planet Earth, I have listened to a lot of Shit and Shine over the last years and I have to admit that I love them, I absolutely adore Shit and Shine. Their has been acid and electronic music and stuff like that and I that stuff is really good but what I love most about them is their extremely heavy sludge/noiserock. Their previous album ‘Doing Drugs, Selling Drugs’ on Riot Season Records was a such an album and it instantly ended on my number two of the year 2019.
Now, Today, ‘Goat Yelling Like A Man’ is out and it is darker and more evil and maybe even more slow then their previous ‘DOING DRUGS, SELLING DRUGS’ . This music sounds like the evil twin brother of doommetal. Shit and Shine does it yet again.

This new track is called ‘Hillbilly Moonshine’ and comes from the upcoming album ‘Malibu Liquor Store’ wich will be released October 9. Dear people of Planet Earth, I have listened to a lot of Shit and Shine over the last years and I have to admit that I love them, I absolutely adore Shit and Shine. Their has been acid and elekctronic music and stuff like that and I that stuff is really good but what I love most about them is their extremely heavy sludge/noiserock. Their previous album ‘Doing Drugs, Selling Drugs’ on Riot Season Records was a such an album and it instantly ended on my number two of the year 2019.
Now, Today, with some many new music and full albums coming out we get the first track of their upcoming album ‘Goat Yelling Like A Man’. The track is called ‘Welcome’ and what can I say? It feels like me bed has come alive and tries to suffocate me gently. It is so destructive and so beautiful.
Goodmorning, Today I have for you some excellent noisepunk to brighten up your day. The Toronto noisemakers Cruel Works released their new album wich is called ‘Bad Listener’ and is a mix of sludgy riffs, noiserock and in your face dirty punk. Together with the great artwork this is an excellent record to blast ridiculouslly loud through your speakers.
Couch Slut is awesome, they make this extreme intense music, this noiserock with hardcore and metal stuff in it. Here and there riffs that apear out of the void that fuck you over completely with an extreme intensity. But there are so many other elements in this album, the heavy metal pieces and black metal influences, it is crazy but this album sounds like Couch Slut but is so much more spectacular, so much more layered. I really really loved their album “Contempt” from 2017, I did, but this is so much better, they possess the same energy that same ferociousness but this album feels a whole. You may not believe me because I spewed a lot of awesome and superb in the last two days with all this crazy releases like Blom and Metz and the three one g record compilation and these other compilations but the releases the last days have just been incredible and Couch Slut is one of them. ‘Take A Chance On Rock ‘n’ Roll’ is absolutely amzing, intense to the last second! Out on Gilead Media.
Favourite track: ‘I’m 14’
I will call this scumbag rock. These guys deserve their own genre, a bit of noiserock, punk and heavy stoner riffing together with the dirty vocals make this extremely greasy music. They released two tracks from their upcoming album “Holy Shit” EP which is a really good name for their EP, also their first tracks ‘Holy Shit part 1’ is a superb track and again awesome name. Their latest track is called fatberg and is just rocknroll, psych and noise and stoner and frikkan awesome solos al cramped together. Awesome.
“Thoroughbreds” is the new album by Ohio heavyweight Sog City. This is something between extremely agressive riffing and intense noiserock, the whole album sounds like someone is crushing your skull with amplifiers. I am sitting here quite impressed actually, after listening to the first track that starts of quite eerie and soon brings the chaos and riffs I am sitting here and I think, lordy, this stuff is good. “Lollygagger” is even heavier if that is even possible. “Fools errand” is chaotic fun and introduces a bit of fun punk and synths too! “Valet Parking” is just brutal just like “Rodeo’s closed”. The album is closed with my favourite track called Thoroughbreds. This is music for the noiserock fan who likes his music a bit more metally and heavy. I love Sog City.
These two tracks are the first thing these Italian noiserockers released and it is pretty damn impressive for a first released, the two tracks are agressive noiserock and sludge with tormented vocals and fast paced riffing. The EP “Terms and conditions” from Baratro for you. This is highly explosive stuff, tune in now.
“Raving Drooling” is an album made of riffs, riffs that we need, that you need, riffs that i am pretty sure could save us against the virus, they are so heavy and dense they could level a building with the first chord of the first track. This really cool album is made by the Australian duo DEAD who also manage the label Weemptyrooms. On this album are 7 tracks that been put really good together, they immediatly get stuck in your head, vocals fit perfectly in the music. The tracks are varied so this is a real good listen from start to finish. Tune in and listen to DEAD. Buy it on their bandcamp or on Wantage.
Favourite track: Repeating A Bad Decision.
Notoriously hard to google, ‘Dead’ is a heavy band from down under.
‘Nunchakku Superfly’ is the third track made available from Dead’s upcoming EP ‘Raving Drooling’, and it’s promising. There’s a lot of shredding guitars, heavy riffs and hardcore screaming, and it’s all packed in one and a half minute. Also, there’s a complete lack of structure, good taste and overall common sense, but that’s just how we like it.
‘Dead’ consists of two band members, they’re called Jem and Jace. They look like your friendly neighbourhood Aussies, but their music and lyrics suggest otherwise. After a first listen and a closer look at the artwork, you can’t help to imagine J &J running through the streets, raving and drooling, carrying nunchucks and screaming ‘Superfly’ to no one in particular. The locals are scared out of their wits, if it’s not the zombie apocalyps, the coronavirus has clearly reached their doorsteps.
All kidding aside, the track is awesome, the riffs are massive, and there’s power in every note. Be sure to check out J&J’s label ‘Weemptyrooms’, lots of cool stuff to discover.
On their own label called WeemptyRooms the Australian heavyness called DEAD will release their new album “Raving Drooling”. This is an album I am looking very much forward too, Dead makes really fucking cool riffs and need to be heard by everyone. “Remorse” was their first shared track and now we get the second track “Digging Holes” and on these two tracks Dead shows they have evolved, their sound is better, Riffs are massive, vocals fit perfectly with the bleak heaviness and drums are really intense. This album will be out April one and listen, listen to this awesomeness!
There is like this Australian duo that has a band called DEAD and they have a label too called WeEmptyRooms. On the label there is a lot of awesome stuff and ofcourse everything of their own band too. They have released a load of really cool singles ,splits and stuff that you really need to check out on their bandcamp but you are here now to check out their new single wich is called “Remorse” wich is taken from their new, upcoming album “Raving Drooling” wich will be released April 1, 2020. Dead makes to most awesome heavy music and we are very excited to hear this full album.Tune in for the first track now.
I am a bit late to the party but the new EP by Drainage is excellent. “The Younger // Older You” was released October 11.
The Long Beach trio makes riff fueled noiserock that is extremely sludgy and heavy. The EP is five tracks long and there is this excellent cover on it too.
The hardcore and sludge is really strong on this EP. the riffs are soo heavy and the vocals so tormented the complete EP feels like moving through thick jelly. Excellent stuff. Tune in now for “The Younger // Older You”.
Atlanta rockers New Bedlam released their new EP ‘Working Stiff’. This is one of those no nonsense riff fueled punk/noiserock/sludge bands that make high energy rock that is just impossible not to like. ‘Working Stiff’ is five tracks long and is at least ten tracks short. This is the kind of music that I can play all day long, this is car music, work music, sports music (I don’t know this for sure though, have not tried sports yet), this is music that gives you energy, that makes you think you are better then everyone else but sadly you are still the same loser.
‘Working Stiff’ is medicine for the riff worshipper. Tune in now and be blown away.
30 000 Monkies shared their second track ‘The Fist of Impending Joy’ wich is almost 7 minutes of incredibly heavy doom and noise. The band recently shared their first video and track ‘HE-MAN’ from the upcoming album ‘Are Forever’ wich will be released September 27 on Consouling sounds. After hearing this second track it is quite clear this album will be beyond awesomeness. Tune in and enter the world of 30000 Monkies.
You can be sure of two things when there is new music by the Belgian band 30 000 Monkies, It is going to be heavy and it is going to be weird. But more importantly, the new track is called ‘He-Man’ and it is one hell of a sludge/noise track. On this first single of the upcoming album ‘Are Forever’ the band is going full force so this is sounding very promising for the album. This music needs visuals and that is something is 30 000 Monkies is good at, so check out the tunes and the video and let your brain melt.
‘Are Forever’ will be released September 27 on Consouling Sounds.
