Skeletonized release ‘Apparition’

I have lost count how many times the Pittsburgh free jazz/noise band Skeletonized has been on Fuzzy Sun but the only thing I know for sure is that is not enough. Their high energy skronk keeps my body going for yet another day. Their previous releases have been brutal and this new release is no different yet it has something more, there seems to be an extra psychedelic touch to it. Is it more jazzy? Is it less agresssive? It is beautifull that is for sure. Tune in and listen to ‘Apparition’ by the great Skeletonized.

Skeletonized release ‘Desolate Conclusion’

High energy destructive free Jazz and noise. This is a bit how I would describe Skeletonized. The Pennsylvania band has released a lot of albums by now and some of them tend to drone and noise and others more to free jazz and noise stuff. Now this new one just gets me itchy and nerveous. The drums are superb on this and the sax is as always an agressive force that makes me go a little nutty. Always gorgeous stuff, and they did it again!

Energetic noise and jazz on the new Skeletonized

The Pennsylvania freejazz and noise band seems to release music faster then I can listen properly to them, now they are back with a thingy called “Pink Durag”. Like always the atmosphere is bleak and ominous. The saxophone is again the main ingredient of the album wich makes me happy. Their music is highly experimental but still it is not that difficult to listen to, they bring me a kind of rest but that is probably whats wrong with me. Tune in and check for yourself the new Skeletonized called “Pink Durag”.

“How Skeletonized Is Made” by How Things Are Made with Skeletonized

I love long titles and I love Skeletonized so you can imagine my joy when I heard there was going to be a collaborative album between the Pennsylvania experimental noisejazz band Skeletonized and the Pennsylvania experimental trio How Things Are Made. The album starts of great with some eerie wild sax and ambient stuff on the background instantly setting the  vibe for this album. On the rest of the album we can hear that these two bands are pretty damn serieus about it, heavy drums, repetitive sax and experiments creat the most eerie weird jazz vibe ever and i love it. Tune in for some weirdness now.

‘We Gladly Feast on Those Who Would Subdue Us’ is the new experimental album by Skeletonized

This post is about the band that is Skeletonized. I covered them a couple of times already and each time i am surprised by their output. Sometimes there is free jazz and some times electronic music but each time it is very experimental.

This time we get a more agressive approach with ‘We Gladly Feast on Those Who Would Subdue Us’. The drums are in full attack modus and the sax sounds like an epic warcry. When i hear this i picture a horde of exotic Orcs marching through dangerous mudlands on their way to feast on tiny humans.

Skeletonized keeps releasing experimental stuff of great quality and this latest one may be my favourite. Tune in now.

Skeletonized keeps releasing experimental weirdness

The Pittsburgh band’s current lineup includes saxophone, drums, synth & samples(members of Triangle & Rhino & Fantasy Crime).

Their music can range from free jazz to drone and electronics. Each release brings a refreshing new sound.

This time Skeletonized released “Barf bag” wich focuses a bit more on drums and drone. The best way to listen to this ominous music is loud and on your headphones.

Check their latest album and previous music out.

get your ears brutalized by Skeletonized

I recently posted about the Pittsburgh band Skeletonized (with members of Triangle & Rhino & Fantasy Crime) . I told you then that i love it when music does something different. Well, they did something different with their album “Heavy Wave” and they are already back with new weirdness.

This time their album calls “Breiner | Cirelli | Farkas | Rappa” and its more free destructive jazz and less noise rock then te previous one, though i have to warn you, this is no music to play when you are sipping red wine while doing a tête-à-tête with your lovely wife. I don’t really know when you should listen to it, all i know is you should.

Favorite track: Worm

Skeletonized/Heavy Wave

I used to post a lot more weird and experimental stuff on this website. This probably irritates everyone a lot and i will not stop because weird music awesome.
Let us take a look at the Pittsburgh band Skeletonized. Current lineup includes saxophone, drums, synth & samples(members of Triangle & Rhino & Fantasy Crime). It sounds something like the sax wants to play cool free jazz but ends up doing noise rock.
The track “Henchmen” is my favorite because of the “normal” intro and then the violent turn only to end in some kind of doomjazz finale. Skeletonized is pretty awesome and you should listen to it.
