Crash Toto release The Riptoffer EP

The Belgian label Kraak and the Inhouse label of Swallowing Helmets released the new Ep from brussels band Crash Toto. The EP is out since January and is gorgeous riff and noise fest, filled with relentless guitar work and repetitive drums the whole ep feels psychedelic and trippy. Their is some experimental songwriting involved wich makes it very refreshing and fun to listen too. The Synths give that extra kick to it.

I added Crash Toto to The Big Belgian Noiserock List because they belong on it too.

Bummer released “Thanks For Nothing”

The 7″ by Kansas City rockers Bummer is now out and is pretty frikkin nice.  Heavy and noise riffs all through this 7″ and a Marilyn Manson cover wich send me a bit down memory lane. Highly recommended brutal music for brutal people. It is like a someone hits you every two seconds with a hammer in the face but the hammer is actually made from beer and your face is your mouth and he doesn’t hit you but just pours it in. its nice.

Øgïvęš Big Band

While browsing the Øgïvęš Big Band facebook page I came across this statement:

“1 week till we release our EP, HARM on Halfmeltedbrain. Its fierce. No one wants to review it. Cus it’s fucking scary.”

First of all, this is quit complex, if I understand correctly there is a difference between Øgïvęš Big Band and Øgïvęš. I think, I am not sure. Am I a good researcher? no. Am I too lazy to ask them or search for the answer? Yes.
Stuff I do now: This EP is by Øgïvęš Big Band and is released October 16 ( I am quite sure, I found this info on their bandcamp). The EP is called ‘HARM’ and I am not scared to review this!
My review: I like noises and riffs, and there are some good noises and riffs on these three songs, however, I like vocals too and I don’t hear much vocals.
I like the third track the best by the way.
Here is a pic of how these guys look, there you go:

Get ready for the new album by Henry Blacker with a third new track

‘Cag Mag’ and  ‘Cellmate’ by Henry Blacker are already up for a listen. Their album ‘The making of Junior Bonner’ will be out April 13 through Riot Season Recordings. HB Formed because there’s nothing to do in Somerset. HB Formed because the other band they do (Hey Colossus) rehearse in London and they wanted a band they didn’t need to travel the width of the country to jam with.
Now, to get in the mood for the new album , the third track ‘Keep It Out of Your Heart’ is out. Enjoy some modern desert riffs and get ready for the release.
