Video premiere: Death Cult Electric – ‘The Fine Print’

Welsh noisemakers Death Cult Electric do make som strange music, the band featuring ex ESTRONS member Steffan Pringle can be heard on your favourite music blog as a premiere. The track ‘The Fine Print’ is a bit more crazy than their previous music (you can check out ‘Deleter’) . It shows a band that has probably snorted half bath of drugs and smoked up a greenhouse between their previous single and now this one. Their is like some spicy industrial in it, some numetal maybe, rob zombie is in there somewhere too and all this in a jacket of brutal noise. This shows a band that is full of serprises and energy, ready to go apeshit in your ears. Go listen now.

‘The Fineprint’

I GOT THE KNOW HOW

GET THE KNOW HOW

GET THE KNOW HOW, HOW?

I’m gonna paint it magenta     (Get the know how)

I’m gonna build you a catacomb (   Get the know how)

I’m the fucking main event-a

I’m going parabolic to the moon

Get it for me

Get it for me

Yeah, Yeah

The government is out to get us

I GOT THE KNOW HOW

GET THE KNOW, HOW?

Laying out the agenda

The reptilians articulate

That the number one rule of apocalypse is punctuality

So get dressed darling, cause you know that we will be leaving soon

Get it for me

Get it for me

Yeah, Yeah

These words I read they imply

 We’ve got no supply

These words I read they imply

We’ve got no supply

It’s looking good to me

Looks pretty good to me

Pink Room release ‘Putain Royale’

The moment has finally arrived, The new album from the Belgian rockers Pink Room is out. The album is called ‘Putain Royale’ and is out on ZOE ZOE RECORDS, ROCKERILL RECORDS & SIX TONNES DE CHAIR RECORDS. You can order their new album now on their official site. And check out the gorgeous merch too!

A while ago we got the first video and single from the track ‘Losing’ which was a gorgeous kick in the face and the first track after the intro (by Nathan Roche) and it is a perfect start on ‘Putain Royale’, heavy garageriffs and some wild psychedelic solo work at the end of the track. On ‘Losing’ Cis Deman (Stake) and Bart Baele (Tubelight, Speedozer) are guests.

For ‘Stay White’ they change to a higher gear and go faster and wilder, a track filled with fast paced energy. By now everybody already understands that this album will be one intese chunk of energy. ‘Hail Satan’ may be the most accesible track, if you could call anything accesible on this album, the riff on ‘Hail Satan’ is catchy and the vocals screech their way into my brain. Tijl Van De Casteele from Whorses en Jonas Calu from Little Trouble Kids doig guest percussion on ‘Hail Satan’. Their is a clip coming for ‘Hail Satan’ and their will be a lot of fire in it which is cool because fire is cool.

There is no time for a breather (on the whole album) or a break to drink a hot cup of cacao because ‘Live Laugh Love’ is again fast, loud, and like almost all of their tracks it is adrenaline boosting (is that a word? it is now?). ‘All Breaks No Gas’ I heard the first time when I was on my bike and I was so pumped I almost drove in to a canal. As I am an excellent reviewer it is also time to talk about the drums so that the drummer did not think I forgot about him, on the whole album Jelle does some excellent drumming and with all his hittin and smashin he takes care of the relentless tempo and on the next track ‘Colin’ he brings some nice vibe with his woody drumsticks. ‘Skin’ (with guest vocals from Sam De Clercq van Brorlab) and ‘The Most Underrated Piece of Art is Power’ are catchy rocknroll tracks (but then very heavy) . The last track ‘Stay Black’ is with guest vocals by Ruben from Vonnis and may be the most brutal track on the album, a track filled with punk and hardcore.

The reason this album absolutely rules is because it is really fucking loud and heavy but at the same time it is catchy and fun. There is a perfect balance between noiserock and garagerock. I hate it when bands are superdark and really serious and Pink Room is the other way around, it is all about having a blast and that is what you hear throughout the whole album. Al the guest musicians on this album just make the whole shabang better, they give it an extra kick. This album feels like a destructive party, a party that ends in the gutter, broken and hurt but really happy.

I give this album four peacocks, two sparkling stars and a tornado 🦚🦚🦚🦚✨✨🌪️

The album cover art is made by Valentine Gallardo just like on their previous album ‘Zum Kotsen‘ and ‘Relationshit‘ EP.

Buy the album, go on then.

Produced by Rodrigo Fuentealba Palavicino.

Videopremiere Pink Room – Losing

This moment here right now is a very important moment in history. Forget about Covid, world war whatever, forget about Hedge Funds and Impeachments, forget about all that bullshit and let us come together for this important moment. Today we celebrate Pink Room, a band you all know and love and care for, their music has soothed our souls, brought us together and made us stronger. Their music has made us bigger Humans, better Humans, cuter Humans. And today I can announce with religious fever that Fuzzy Sun has the honor to premiere the video from the first track ‘Losing’ from the upcoming album by Pink Room. This first track shows a band that has grown over the years, their sound more powerful and more raw then before. Riffs, garagepunk and noise are all gorgeously produced and with their signature fuck off attitude that their sound has.

The new album is called ‘Putain Royale’ and will be out 12/03/2021 on ZOE ZOE RECORDS, ROCKERILL RECORDS & SIX TONNES DE CHAIR RECORDS. You can Pre-order their new album now on their official site. And check out the gorgeous merch too!

‘Losing’ is the perfect starter for your day, the track is in your face garagepunk by a band that is professionally certified at shredding your face off with noises. This is riff fueled anger for the whole family. Watch the lone partyanimal and vocalist of Pink Room celebrate in the new video. This clip was made by Jaak Segers who studied at the Kask and is now a self employed cameraman/director who has been doing a lot in the music scene and livestreamstuff. Premiere: Creston Spiers – I’ll Do Anything You Want Me To

Creston Spiers (From Harvey Milk) announced his second LP and shared two tracks from his upcoming album called “Brown Dwarf”. The album will be released December 4th on Wantage USA, WeEmptyRooms and Creston Spiers.  The album is recorded by Creston himself, mastered by Kyle Spence (Harvey Milk drums). The first pressing is limited to 150 pieces, with screen printed kraft covers and hand stamped labels.

I am very happy to premiere the third track ‘I’ll Do Anything You Want Me To’ before the release on the fourth.

Creston makes music that is heavy but still full of feels, the tracks are full of fuzz but still feels strongly emotional. ‘I’ll Do Anything You Want Me To’ is faster paced and filled with grunge and punk influences but still a track you can sing along with. Tune in and check out his music and buy the LP.

Video premiere: Hayward Versus Harmergeddon – Helix

The English drummer Charles Hayward ( This Heat and Camberwell Now) has made a lot of music in the experimental scene and now he started this collaboration with the noise/ambient/electronic duo from England called Harmergeddon. Now something curious has happened, these three artists have released their first track and now video called ‘Helix’ and it sounds quite out of this world, not really what you would expect from these artists alone. The track feels alien, cold and trippy. This collaboration sure gives us something interesting to listen to. ‘Hayward Versus Harmergeddon’ will be released on God Unknown Records this friday. Check out the track ‘Helix’ now.

Öresund by Kanaan: Euphoric jam from Norway’s tiger city

Kanaan, or the promised land in Hebrew, is a psychedelic band from Oslo, Norway. With their third, soon-to-be-released album ‘Double Sun’, Ask, Ingvald and Eskild clearly have one goal in mind: get you to higher spheres. Here you can listen to the album’s third track, Öresund.

We did some googling, and apparently Öresund is bridge between Sweden and Denmark. There’s no lyrics, so we can only guess why the track is called after an eight kilometre long bridge in Scandinavia. The song lifts you up to higher plane, the mood is ecstatic and slightly melancholic. If crossing the bridge gives you the same thing, we know where to go in the summer.

Anyhow, Öresund feels more like an elaborate jam than a structured song, but we don’t mind in the least. The pace is rather high, the drums have a nervous feel and the guitars are stacked with effects that propel the track to a euphoric finale. The whole jam has a dreamy, liberating quality to it. No need for opioids, this does the trick.

The bands sound range from 60’s psych rock psychedelic stoner. Some of the tracks have that vintage feeling to them. The Spiral Electric is a band with a wide range of sounds but what it stays is psychedelic and thats what they are good at.

The self titled double LP is a must have for the psych lover, so buy yourself a copy fast before they are out.

Videopremiere: Moon Pussy shares ‘The Buttler’

When I see a bandname like Moon Pussy I instantly expect good noisy music. And they deliver some freakin good music too, the Colorado trio consists of Ethan A. Hahn, Cory Hager and Crissy Cuellar. With these three people they make a hell of a racket.

In January the band shared their new album called ‘Band Meating’. If you think these cool names going to stop, you are wrong. Moon Pussy does not only deliver crushing noiserock with hellish vocals, they have good names for every track like ‘Buttler’, ‘Sports Fuck’ and ‘Butt Hash’.

‘Band Meating’ is filled with good riffs and high energy tracks. With enough variation on their tracks the album stays interesting and is pretty addictive.  This is the kind of noiserock that everyone needs to hear.

So you can imagine I am very pleased to premiere a video by Moon Pussy. Direct your attention to the new video from the track ‘(She Likes It In) The Buttler’.

Exclusive Premiere: A new track by Sisters Of Your Sunshine Vapor

These Detroit psychedelic rockers don’t rest. In October 2017 they released their magnificent album “Lavander Blood” and soon after they began touring.

There are a lot of posts about SOYSV over the last two years on Fuzzy Sun. The reason is simple, their music has that extra pinch of originality and that always present psych vibe.

Now it is 2019 and SOYSV are ready to present a couple of new singles. Maybe you have heard their previous released single “All is Lust”. In this track you can hear the ‘typical’ sound of the band, the repetitive psychedelic tunes. A gorgeous track.

But now it’s time for the new track. The thing is called “Lilly Dust (She’s a Pariah)” and is energetic and maybe a bit different from the rest. The track starts acoustic with some nice vocals but that is not for long, the track explodes pretty quickly  in a energetic fun song.

The singles will be available via Space Camp Records January 18th. Listen now.

Check out SOYSV and more on Fuzzy Sun’s psych list.

A while ago Fuzzy Sun premiered the first track by brand new heavy rockers Mojo Bozo’s Electric Circus and with great pleasure we premiere their second single ‘Keep It Alive’ as well.
Mojo Bozo’s Electric Circus are Ryan and Shane Walsh joined by Jeremy Hayes. The Annapolis heavy rock band puts a lot of different influences in their music. On the second single ‘Keep It Alive’ they start with some classic rock riffs accompanied with some good vocals, suddenly bursting with energy and stoner riffs.
With their two new singles Mojo Bozo’s Electric show their versatility in the different harder genres. easily going from classic rock to stoner all with that psychedelic edge.
We can expect a full album by this upcoming talent this fall. Mojo Bozo’s Electric Circus is a force,  a force we will hear a lot from in the near future.
