New Heads..

My supercheap refurbished noise cancelling headphones have just arrived after a 4 month wait. So I woke up and there they were, and i wanted to test them and what do I see? A new track by Heads.. Coincidence? I think not. Listen with me (keep 4m distance and not with my headphones) to their new noisy postpunk track called “Push You Out to Sea” from their upcoming album “Push”.

Crowd of Chairs share second track

“Tourist” is the second track by Belgian noiserockers Crowd of Chairs. This track is taken from their upcoming album that will be released through Sentimental Records. This will be their second studio album called “Mod Kid With Dog” and will be released February 21 on Sentimental.

The track “Tourist” makes me really excited for the full album. This song is way more experimental then the first track, it is difficult at first but after you give it a couple of listens it creeps under you skin. It is eerie and dangerous, a track filled with nervous energy.

The Belgian rockers Crowd of Chairs have been a couple of times on Fuzzy Sun. The trio makes intense noiserock with post punk influences. They have already three releases out and their latest “Fuck Fuck Fuck” ended on my best of 2017 list. Crowd of Chairs is on my Big Belgian Noiserock list too.

Belgian noiserockers Crowd of Chairs are back with new music

The Belgian rockers Crowd of Chairs have been a couple of times on Fuzzy Sun. The trio makes intense noiserock with post punk influences. They have already three releases out and their latest “Fuck Fuck Fuck” ended on my best of 2017 list. Crowd of Chairs is on my Big Belgian Noiserock list too.

Now we get the first track from their upcoming album that will be released through Sentimental Records. This will be their second studio album called “Mod Kid With Dog” and will be released February 21 on Sentimental.

The first track is called “Hollow Thoughts of Wrong” and on it Crowd of Chairs sounds more balanced the before. Their relentless noiserock combined with their typical destructive and bleak atmosphere  creates a gorgeous track but in this first track they sound more intense but less agressive. This is one of the albums I look mostly forward too in 2020.

Also known for their ferocius live shows, so be sure to check them out live too if possible. Tune in now for “Hollow Thoughts of Wrong”.

Luggage release “Shift”

“Shift” is released by Luggage on November 22 through Corpse Flower Records. I find it difficult to tell you why I love this record so much. I find that the music by posthardcore band Luggage really gets inside my head. The moody build ups, how you can feel the almost metallic sound building up to incredible explosions and the vocals just fit perfectly in this moody noiserock/postpunk atmospheric music.

Highly hypnotic and refined heaviness on “Shift”. A must hear.

“Saturday Night Massacre” by Live Skull

The New York band Live Skull formed in 1982 and is coming back after 30 years with their new album “Saturday Night Massacre”. Together with Sonic Yout and Swans they defined the term noiserock. I would like to say I was around when this epic stuff happened but I was not even born when they were formed. So I guess lots of people are really going to be glad for this, so I am glad that you are glad. There. Enjoy “Saturday Night Massacre”. Released November 8.

Third track “Blurred” by Luggage

already third track before the release of “Shift” now wich will be released November 22 on Corpse Flower Records. I’m getting increasingly hyped for this release although hyped is maybe not the word for it. The music of Luggage is moody, heavy an hypnotic.

“Blurred” is again a track that has a fantastic noiserock track with a postpunk feel. The album “Shift” will surely be on my end of the year list.

Luggage release second track ‘Cam’

The Chicago noiserockers Luggage released their second single from their upcoming album ‘Shift’ wich will be released November 22 on Corpse Flower Records. The first track that was released is called ‘Shift’ and is an instant hit for me. The band produces these intense rythms, hypnotic and heavy combines with the vocals and postpunk vibes this may be becoming one of my favourites of the year. The second singles is making me like this new album only more. Again those dark and eerie postpunk vibes with that dense riffing. Luggage seems to make a combi of genres and atmospheres not a lot of bands succeed at. Tune in for the second track ‘Cam’.

‘Shift’ is out November 22 on Corpse Flower Records.

Luggage to release third album on Corpse Flower Records

The Chicago band Luggage released their first single from their upcoming album ‘Shift’ wich will be released November 22 on Corpse Flower Records. The first track is also called ‘Shift’ and is really really good. The track has this heavy and intense rythm that gets faster and denser by the minute,  the vocals give the track that extra dark postpunk feel.

This is the perfect first single from an album that will be goddamn awesome. Tune in for ‘Shift’.
