Oh Sees release ‘Face Stabber’

Well, it has arrived, the new album by cosmic gods Oh Sees. This psychedelic beast is called Face Stabber and it is a double LP! Out on Castle-Face Records August 16th.

I am bad with words so I won’t torment you with loads of letters and opinions. What I can say is that Oh Sees are one of my all time favourite bands and each album they release (and they release a lot of those, I believe we are at number 24) is filled with originality, craftmanship and sheer enthousiasm. ‘Face Stabber’ is again something different then their last album (wich was gorgeous) ‘Smote Reverser’. This album seems a bit more experimental, less heavy maybe then ‘Smote Reverser’.

With fourteen tracks, some of them over 10 minutes, Oh Sees gives us sonic feast. It takes time to listen to this spaced out tracks, interludes and heaviness but this impressive work is worth every second of your time.

Brace yourselves and tune in now.

Third Oh Sees track ‘Heartworm’

The best garage/psychedelic rock band Oh Sees is releasing music at the speed of light. Their upcoming double LP ‘Face Stabber’ will be born August 16 and we already got 2 tracks and now the third has arrived. The track is called ‘Heartworm’ and is just under two minutes of fast-paces heavy garagepsych.

This again shows Oh Sees can be a very versatile band, switching between psychotic psych and wild garage with ease. Tune in for the new track and listen to their previous released tracks.

New track ‘Henchlock’ by Oh Sees

Oh Sees are easily my favourite rock band in the universe. With a large output of always great music ranging from psychotic garage to sublime psychedelic rock the band return with a new track from their upcoming album.

And not just any track, it’s the final track from their album ‘Face Stabber’ that will be out on August 16. The track ‘Henchlock’ is 21 minutes long and easily shifts from heavy psych to mellow jazzy tunes guided by the awesome vocals of John Dwyer. I say this with each release they do and I will say it again, the band has gotten better again.

Time to tune in to ‘Henchlock’, the new track by Oh Sees from their upcoming ‘Face Stabber’.
