Trigger Cut is ready to release a really strong album in March. the four tracks that are out from the upcoming album ‘ROGO’ are really great. The tracks are riff fueled noispunk tracks with enough energy to make you forget about viruses and death and other boring things. Put this tracks on repeat and make sure you have preorder the album.
The New York noise rockers Cronies released ‘An Evening with Saints’ only a while ago and they are already back with new music. Now with the EP called ‘Fresh Ideas For Transforming Natures Most Perfect Shapes’. Four riff fueled tracks filled with psychedelia. Artwork as wel as the title are very fitting for this EP.
very good stuff
Trigger Cut released their debut album ‘Buster’ in May last year and it was a great album for sure but I don’t know what happened, did Covid get to them? Did they eat too much peppers? Are they on hard drugs? Because the first two tracks that are out are absolutely awesome and really heavy. The First track ‘Solid State’ really hits my feels. Trigger Cut for the win in 2021. Tune in and pre-order the album now goddammit. Don’t wait, it will be gone.
On Reptilian Records is the new album by Hoaries. A band who makes a gorgeous mix of rocknroll and noiserock and I cannot help to think this is the soundtrack for te Pandemic. Their music is feral, brutal and rocknroll wich sound like a big fuck you to the world.
With tracks noisy and others catchy this heavy album is so varied it is a fun listen from beginning to end and I am quite sure I will listen to this a lot more.
Hoaries is a great band and they made a great album and everyone who says different is a turd.
The notoriously hard to google London band USA NAILS returns with their noisy postpunk after their latest full album ‘Life Cinema’ wich was released in 2019.And after their album they released a crapload of live sessions and mixtape wich are all up for a listen on their bandcamp page.
On october 23 the band released their new album ‘Character Stop’ wich is elekven tracks of furious and noisy punk, the band has a relentless pace in their music and sounds really noisy and succeeds at being catchy at the same time. This album is really heavy and really fun to listen to and I can recommend it for every situation. Me, I play it at every family dinner and I am still happy.
Favourite track: ‘No Pleasure’
Always awesome and fun stuff on Reptilian Records and this time it is no different with the upcoming EP by Texan noiserocknroll Hoaries. The thing will be called ‘Rocker Shocker’ and is dirty and crunchy rocknroll at its best. Already three tracks up for a listen before the release this friday, so warm yourself up with these tracks so you are ready for this friday.

What Shifting has done on their new album ‘It Was Good’ is more than good, they have crafted an intense, heavy noiserock album that is filled to the brim with anxious bass, angry vocals and a eerie postpunk feel to it. The album starts of excellent with ‘Spudgegasm’, it immediatly sets the tone for the rest of the album. The album is very varied though, the tracks switch easily between almost feel good guitartunes that soon turn moldy and noisy.
Shifting has created their very own sound that is very fun to listen to. Their is fun for the whole family in it, Sonic Youth like guitarwork, fun punk, deranged postpunk adn destructive noise rock and riff. Not much more is needed. Thank You Shifting

I think Marine Todd is from Pennsylvania and I think Marine Todd is a faily new band. If my detective skills are correct it is a duo wich is not a lot. Marine Todd are two persons that are making a lot of noise, I imagine the vocalist with a guitar on his front and a bass on his back, the micro on a stick and the drummer drumming with one hand and maybe a second guitar next to him or something. Anyway, This duo is loud and their new EP is called ‘Absolute unit’ and it is great and becuse it is great you should listen to their other EP’s too.
The first released track was called ‘Spudgegasm’, the seocn is ‘Pig Farm Heaven’ and it only gets more awesome with the new track that is out now. ‘The bland Leading the bland’ has this ominous atmoshpere, the typical shrieking guitar. A shame it is only a minute and a half long. The Irish band is going to release ‘It Was Good’ on August 24.
I don’t have a lot of info about this band called Cronies. They are from New York and they released this album called ‘An Evening with Saints’ and it is quite incredible. The four tracks are very loud and intense and have this fuzzy quality to them. Favourite track is ‘Acid Western From The Heart’. An absolute blast. Tune in now.
The first released track ‘Spudgegasm starts with this shrieking guitar sound and you can already feel this is going to be awesome. A nice groove riff starts over the noise and grungy vocals fall in. The track soon gets a gear higher and changes in an agressive noiserock track. The second track ‘Pig From Heaven’ is dirty and noisy and promises a good album. The Irish band is going to release ‘It Was Good’ on August 24.
Shuck is a trio from England formed in 2018 by Al Wilson (Ghold) and Jon Perry (Gnod), soon joined by Guitarist Andi Jackson. They shared their Ep ‘Wunder’ a while ago on Hominid too. Now they are back with a full album called ‘Petrichor and Rainbows’ wich is a gorgeous piece of fuzz. Some tracks are devastingly heavy and fast, other have slow riffs and border on doom. Sometimes noiserock or punk or doom but Shuck is always full of fuzz. Tune in now and buy the record.
Thurston seems to feel pretty good, constantly sharing music from his solo project, Thruston Moore group or even Chelsea Light Moving. He now shared a new track May Daze with lyrics!
You must be on some kind of revolution kick
Modernity is on the line and says you’re making them sick
Wars and borders, prisons and swords we don’t understand how
Let’s already overthrow overthrowing now
I’m not the type of guy
Who wants to change the world
She’s not the type of guy
He’s a new century girl
Transparency especially in your soldier’s dress
Screw policy if you’re in prison then we’re the one’s under arrest
Star children have taken over they’re broadcasting peace
Time and space have no place for a sister who needs to be free
I’m not the type of guy
Who wants to change the world
She’s not the type of guy
He’s just a new century girl
You took me by surprise
When you dared me to
Glitter everything with change
And i’ll break the rules with you
Pretty big title their in the header but it is supposed to get your attention. This post is about Hominid and Shuck, about promos, awesome music and label stuff.

Out of Forbidden place records came the new album by oregon rockers The Kronkmen. Their new album “3” was recently released and was really good stuff and now they did something really weird. They released their same album but slowed way down. The thing sounds again good, but now it sounds like the evil sludgy twin brother that is out to get you while you are drooling in your bed at night. This is the soundtrack to your nightmare. Tune in for the Evil verion of The Kronkmen.
There is some new music coming from Thurston Moore since this epidemic. He has shared ‘Sanday Stage’ and ‘No Go’ wich you can listen to below, and now the latest track with Thurston saying this about it:
“This wild child was let loose in 2016 whilst the TMG (Thurston Moore Group) was laying down sounds for our Rock n Roll Consciousness release the following year. “Instant Transcendent Conjecture” is a cryptic suggestion into the realization of the poem as a springing into nature. Through the haze of chemical assault, the spring springs by any means necessary. Earth prayers are in action. Transcendence through understanding, and through sacrifice :: we are here in community service to a garden named Heaven. To paraphrase the lads from Liverpool, “Get Back to where you once belonged..””
Another track again with an explanation:
“With the contemporary malaise of thinking for one’s self in the face of crisis and responsibility beyond the concerns and anxiety of ego where signals jam and permissions are crossed with liberation and with sonic meditation you follow your heart. Punk Rock is all about having loud pulse pounding fun and fighting for yr rights while looking out for each other in the pit. NO(W) GO!!!!!!!”
Thurston Moore said this about the 2014 ‘Sunday Stage’ track thats just surfaced:
“It’s Sunday 29 March 2020 and we are all on the same page in our shelters if we are so lucky with food and drink if so blessed and with a loved one or two or three if the gods are really shining – maybe they are – i always feel they are, even in the worst of times – faith is key – religion is what you want for your own devotion to being here and now and today i love rock n roll “do you love rock n’ roll” ” i do – and i love you” the resonant response of the Earth. We are fighting for each other hopefully with dignity despite the horror shows abounding in the hospices where brave soldiers save lives as much as they can – we salute you with loud love and raised guitars. it is time to pray to overthrow the weak governance of merchants of greed, insurrection blowing wild from the amplifiers, our hearts held in Sunday service.”
The stuff that comes out on Forbidden Place Records is always pretty damn cool and it is no different with the Oregon rocker The Kronkmen. They released their thrid album called “3” (who could have guessed that?). This is ten tracks of panic induced surfnoise. Though I always miss vocals on bands like this I have to say I really like this album, the basslines are supercool, its catchy and superentertaining. Listen to The Kronk Men and buy their LP.
