OMNIBAEL – ‘Violent Flower’ on the new NIM BRUT comp

Somewhere in Iowa there is a newish label called NIM BRUT and most of their music has been shared on your favourite page Fuzzy Sun. NIM BRUT deals in the weird and the experimental, the heavy and the destructive (also some livestream shows). Noise like Territorial Gobbing and psychedelic and experimental guitar work like Carnivorous Plants lives on their bandcamp page. A while ago I got the honor to premiere a track from Health Plan’s upcoming album wich will be released this friday! Then a week ago I got the second track by Health Plan to share(you can find the track on their upcoming album that will be released on Buzzhowl and Nim Brut) , that track was taken from the upcoming NIM BRUT compilation called ‘DEPRIVED OF OCCUPATION AND PLEASURE WE FEAST’ wich features 10 different artists and is a great way to dive into the experimental world of NIM BRUT.

On the ten track compilation we can already listen to Hubbel, Health Plan an Rusty Sandoz. Now we get another one called Omnibeal wich is a refreshing taster from all the soft squishy music. Omnibael is no bullshit, in you face lofi industrial blackened punk (yes i just found that genre out). Check it out now.

Track premiere: Health Plan – Food Grief

Somewhere in Iowa there is a newish label called NIM BRUT and most of their music has been shared on your favourite page Fuzzy Sun. NIM BRUT deals in the weird and the experimental, the heavy and the destructive (also some livestream shows). Noise like Territorial Gobbing and psychedelic and experimental guitar work like Carnivorous Plants lives on their bandcamp page. A while ago I got the honor to premiere a track from Health Plan’s upcoming album wich will be released this friday! And now we are here together for a second track by Health Plan (you can find the track on their upcoming album that will be released on Buzzhowl and Nim Brut) , the track is taken from the upcoming NIM BRUT compilation called ‘DEPRIVED OF OCCUPATION AND PLEASURE WE FEAST’ wich features 10 different artists and is a great way to dive into the experimental world of NIM BRUT. The track by Hubble is already out.

Health Plan is Steve Hodson (Blacklisters/USA Nails) and Dan Holloway (Eurosuite/USA NAILS) (and they are on my duo list too) and their new track is called ‘Food Grief’ and the style they produce is unique, their is industrial noise and lot of very dirty punk. These sounds are destructive and perfect to fuck up your ears. Very looking forward to the full album. Tune in now and enjoy.

Now we get the first video from the duo and it is quite something. The track is called ‘Post Traumatic Growth’ and is a mix of noisepunk and electronic fuckery. The song is wild, intense and a great one to get out out of bed with in the morning (equals 6 cups of coffee). For fans of Thank, Psychic Graveyard and other robotic noiserock.

Carnivorous Plants release ‘Solo Guitar II’ on NIM BRUT

This new release by Carnivorous Plants is a record full of highly experimental guitar work, going from meditive to guitarnoise. the whole records got me a bit in the vibe of those Japanoise artists, those bands that make heavy psych and go superwild on the guitarsolo noise pieces. Although very noisy, this record got a trippy and eerie atmosphere around it. Pretty damn cool if you ask me. Out on Nim Brut.

Album Stream: Territorial Gobbing & BlackCloudSummoner – Heavier Than A Desk In The Factory

Leeds noise terorrist Territorial Gobbing (who also makes noises for Thank) has an immense output of brain destroying noisestuff wich you can check out at his bandcamp if you like to get a sonic beating. But that is not what we are her for at the moment. We are here to listen to the full album stream ahead of release of Teritorrial Gobbing and BlackCloudSummer. BlackCoudSummer is a harsh noise artist from Nottingham. Together they made ‘Heavier Than A Desk In The Factory’ wich is clearly influenced by the mysterious Japanese band Les Rallizes Denudes. If you are in to Japanoise you can check ‘The Cosmic Side of Japan‘ too

Self-recorded and engineered at abcdefg, the three track album will be available on limited editioncassette and download from NIM in the U.S. (Nim-Brut), and Outsider Arts in the U.K. (Outsider Art)

The three tracks are really good, the first track captures the soul of the noise that Les Reallizes Denudes created so long ago and gives the three track album a tranquil start. ‘Peaches and Crayons’ is more eerie and ends with a retro horror noise feel. ‘Playing All My Black Dice Records At The Same Time’ is in your face scary noise.

‘Heavier Than A Desk In The Factory’ is split in three different parts, each of them conveying a different feeling. Tune in for the eerie atmosphere now.
