Music for the endtimes: Willy Organ

It is day 3 of the quarantine I am starting to cave in, I am starting to give up. Kid number 1 is asking the same question over and over and over and Kid number 2 can’t talk yet but makes a lot of gurgly noises nonetheless. I am eating 5 hot meals a day and chocolate is my new type of fruit. Stinking in my pyamas is my new style and I can fart like Donky Kong on speed. I have been listening to Chat Pile the last couple of days because the gloom of the band perfectly fits these times.

Now suddenly, without warning, snot starts running out of my nose, my throat hurts and I think this may be the end. The stress and tiredness is taken over after 3 days of pure terror and suddenly I paused Chat Pile and remembered the New Synth Wizard, The Master of the Life Song, the new Ghentian artist Willy Organ! Willy Organ does not fit on this website at all, not even a little bit, yet he has given one of the best live shows I have ever seen, his lyrics are beyond beautiful (it is in Dutch so I suggest you learn Dutch as fast as possible so you can truly enjoy this music) and he deserves to be on every site. Willy Organ’s music oozes existential dread, it asks questions that make you look deep into yourself at these bleak times. Willy Organ’s music is what I need and I don’t know if you will need it too but I wanted to post it mostly because I can and fuck you and because I just sit here in quarantine and I wanted to post something else for a change.

This new Belgian word wizard wil release a new album that will be called “Jonge Plant” that you can pre-order on bandcamp. And you should buy it because he may be a wizard, he needs money for food and drinks. If you can’t get enough of Willy you can just look him up on youtube and you will find a lot more. His new album will be released June 5.

I also embedded Willy doing a cover of Type O Negative’s “My Girfriends Girlfriend” called “Mijn Vriendins Vriendin”.

Belgian noiserockers Youff release “If Wishes were horses, homicidal beggars could ride”.

It is time for part II. In May this year the belgian noiserockers dropped the brutal album ’20/20 Hindsight’ and now they drop the second part wich is called ‘If wishes were horses, homicidal beggars could ride’.

Youff is slowly creeping its way to become the loudest noiserockband around. These Belgians make noiserock that sounds like their life depends on it. Their music sounds tormented and possessed. Yet with their new album they show a new side, a more sophisticated side if you will.  some of the tracks have more atmosphere, they do not instantly destroy your face with a sonic wall of terror but they slowly creep under your skin and torment you from inside, It is way better!

‘Assa Abloy’ and ‘Reich’ are two of these tracks horrorish atmospheric tracks while the band still instantly destroys with tracks like ‘Domesticated’,’Phlegm’ and ‘Quaaludes’.

‘If wishes were horses, homicidal beggars could ride’ is an excellent noiserock album and is my favorite from the band. Tune in and enjoy.

Belgian noiserockers Youff are back with new face destroying track from their upcoming album “If Wishes were horses, homicidal beggars could ride”.

’20/20 HINDSIGHT’ was the latest album by Belgian noiserockers Youff, this one was released in May this year and is ridicously agressive and loud. Now they are already back with new music from another new album called “If Wishes were horses, homicidal beggars could ride”.

Their new track is called ‘Quaaludes’ and it seems they are aiming to be the loudest band of the year. There is so much wild frenzy noise on this track that in 3 minutes your brain melts through your nose.

Allöchtöön released their self titled debut

Now and then I need heavy riffs, noiserock, fast and agressive music to keep me awake. I don’t know about you but when I’m in the car at night I just need some Slayer or Daughters or even Dying Fetus to keep me from dying of boredom. Or in the middle of the day at the most inconvenient moment I blast Girl Band mostly for myself but also to annoy others with their terrible music taste. It is sonic terror like these bands that keeps my blood flowing (and tire the people around me).

A band like Allöchtöön does that for me, it hightens my senses, making me like some kind of sonic animal chasing my tail like an idiot. So I am very happy to introduce to you the new EP by Belgian brutes Allöchtöön.  It sounds a bit like Entombed fucked Raging Speedhorn in the bum. Its fun. It is also out on cassette through Nosebleed Records

I asked my girlfriend (who hates noiserock and psych) to review this band, this is what she says: ‘This is just stupid, all this noise induces a migraine. Who the fuck listens to this, turn it off and leave me alone’.

There are about 5 good tracks on this EP so you should stop reading this nonsense and start listening to this very good debut.

now.
