Dutch psychfolk Heavy Wipped Cream make feel good music

With their vintage psychedelic vibe Heavy Wipped Cream made an album that sounds like summer, you can feel the sunshine through this album. The Dutch band has not only a very good bandname but also have very nice cover art for their freshly released EP ‘A Mouthful’. This is really nice to listen to and I am very curious what more this album will bring. The only thing I hope is that they get their sound a little bit dirtier, a bit more raw and psych in the future. It is so nice that it sounds a little too polished. Listen for yourself and enjoy this hazy album.

Garden Portal – Prana Crafter and Rootless

Garden Portal is a label and YouTube channel that publishes new videos and/or bringing live streams. Label operator Michael Potter will start each episode with a short introduction and then hand it over to the main guest(s) of the evening for a full set of music at 7:00 PM. Their new new compilation digital-only release will split the proceeds made from sales between the artists on here that are out of work themselves, and the Athens Mutual Aid Network. The Athens Mutual Aid Network is a great group of folks working hard to get support to disadvantaged folks in my community of Athens, GA that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This Youtube is a music split between Prana Crafter and Rootles

Vol. 2 by Naujawanan Baidar

Naujawanan Baidar is an Afghan-American folk-noise outfit. The band creates a bridge between Afghan folk and modern drone/noise. This is contemporary Afghan experimental music and it is Vol. 2!

This is absolutely refreshing stuff, a perfect marriage between cultures and sounds. This verry trippy album has 7 tracks each of them a sonic world on their own, some more Eastern and some noisy drone stuff.

This stuff easily hijacks your brain to another dimension.

The good news is you can listen to this marvellous stuff on bandcamp, the bad news is that the cassettes are sold out.

This cassette is released through Radio Khiyaban on August 15.

Tune in and enjoy this good stuff. Check out Vol.1 to still the hunger.
