Favourite music of June 2021

This month got some absolute new banger, I am exceptionally happy with the new Alexis Marshall track and the announcement of the collab between the body and Big Brave. Soem really great stuff in here, ranging from almost metal to destructive noiserock and some really fine psychedelia too. Check out what June had to offer.

Bloody head release ‘The Temple Pillars Dissolve Into The Clouds ‘ on Hominid Sounds

It has been a while since we got a new release on the great label Hominid, but with this new one they do not dissapoint. The new album by Bloody Head is called ‘The Temple Pillars Dissolve Into The Clouds ‘and is really heavy, riff fueled noiserock/sludge n stuff. The riffs, the psychedelic atmosphere, the slow and gritty experimentalism, all this is what I really like and it is all combined in this one awesome album. really good stuff on this one, get out your flaps of money, throw them to the bandcamp page and get the limited LP,you will be a happy human.

Favourite track: Psychick Warfare

Bloody head share second track ‘This could be Paradise’

It has been a while since we got a new release on the great label Hominid, so I was really glad when I crawled out of bed, opened up my phone and saw there was going to be a new release. The upcoming release is from UK rockers Bloody Head, a band I did not know before today. The first track is called ‘Homeaopathic Mountains’ and is been out for a while. the music is a mix of punk, noiserock, psych and metal. It is goddamn gorgeous and makes me think a bit of Gnod in moments. This second track ‘This could be Paradise’ is an 8 minutes long beast of a track. Bloody Head will release ‘The Temple Pillars Dissolve Into The Clouds’ on May 31. With only hearing the first track I know this will be high up my end of the year list. Tune in now.
