‘Whelmed’: A split between Bodies On Everest & Lump Hammer

This split is something absolutely great, these two bands made a split of the most experimental noiserock, music at times agressive and bleak and sometimes highly psychedelic and trancelike.

The Liverpool band Bodies On Everest takes care of the first four tracks. These four tracks make up for about an hour worth of listening ‘pleasure’. Bodies on Everest are experts in songbuilding, slowly creating atmosphere and added layer by layer of excrutiating noise.

Then there is Lump Hammer from Newcastle Upon Tyne with five tracks of highly mad noiserock, experimetal, riffing and hellish screaming.

This is a split from hell and a very good one, excellently executed with the kind of noisy atmosphere that we need. Released October 18.
